🧬 Welcome to the Aging Epigenetic Atlas

About This Project

The Aging Epigenetic Atlas is a multi-layered, tissue-wide resource created to explore how the human epigenome changes with age.

This platform includes tissue-specific analyses of DNA methylation across multiple dimensions, including:

  • Differentially Methylated Positions (DMPs)
  • Variably Methylated Positions (VMPs)
  • Entropy patterns
  • Tissue-specific methylation features

All analyses were designed and led by Dr. Macsue Jacques as part of her work on the Aging Atlas. The project integrates more than 10 million CpG sites across the following tissues:

  • Adipose
  • Blood
  • Brain
  • Breast
  • Buccal
  • Cervix
  • Colon
  • Heart
  • Kidney
  • Lungs
  • Muscle
  • Pancreas
  • Rectum
  • Retina
  • Skin

Each tab on this website provides access to a specific data layer (e.g. DMPs, VMPs, entropy). New features and datasets are being added regularly.
